We dearly enjoyed the time we spent with Uncle Mel. He was a big part of my family & will be missed so much. Lots of great memories filled with laughter.
I am so very sorry I missed Mel's memorial service. I have had to be at the hospital with Sharon, his neighbor who also was a long time friend of his, and I didn't see until this morning that his service was yesterday. Please forgive me. I wanted so much to be there. Mel was a wonderful neighbor and friend, and he will be so so missed by ALL of us!!! My prayers are with all of you for now and months and years to come as you adjust to life without him here...but I know Heaven rejoiced to receive him....and the Lord will give you all Comfort and Peace. Just take one day at a time. As I told y'all the other day...we are just two doors down, so please let me know if I can help you...Becky
I have many wonderful memories in the good old Load Room at American Airlines.
Mel was a good friend and co-worker.

I've known Mel since I was a young child and he has always had a smile on his face or a snicker because he was ready to tease you. That has been forty years ago. I will miss him terribly and loved him as my father and friend. Hope your hearts will soon be healed of your sorrow and replaced with the fond and wonderful memories that he has left us with.
I Love You Mel
Dear Mel's family,
Mel made me laugh. He cared about people and he was a fun/good co-worker. It was always nice to see him when he made visits to our office after he retired.
Those are my good memories of Mel. God's Blessings!
