Barry, I'm sadden by the passing of your father. After reading about him you must be very proud of him, he sounds like a great man. I know it hurts to lose a father, mine passed in 1995 at a young age and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think and miss him. You know he is hovering over you watching to be sure you are safe. He's in a better place now with clear skies and smooth landings. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

We'll miss Uncle Dick! what a guy -- I remember meeting him on his return from Vietnam at Denver airport many years ago - he had a souvenir (empty mortar shell). I recall he was also a competitive diver in his youth; pretty good guitarist, amazing soldier and patriot: 3 tours of duty in a helicopter in Vietnam! - tremendous courage. He'll be missed.

So sorry for your loss. I am grateful that Uncle Dick is flying high with his brother, our dad, and many other beloved friends and relatives and no longer suffering the pain of this world. Much love, Karen Halterman
