To my goalie and first baseman:

And one of the better players, who always came prepared to give her very best, that I had the pleasure of coaching. Just came back into town and was so sorry to read of your dad's passing. My first memory of your father was when my mother told me who Ron was at our first soccer game. Mother watched, in fact we were raised on, Channel 5 because of Harold Taft. Up until them, he was Amber's dad. My other memories are of a father who was proud of his daughter and who provided a parent's assistance in all of her endeavors. I coached youth sports from 1976 - 1993 and it was easy knowing those type parents.

My memories of you include: the Purple Sparklers jelling as a team when you agreed to be the full time goalie; scoring one of the longest goals; being equally as good in softball; and waking up one morning after a soccer slumber party to find all of the outdoor chairs in a line in my backyard facing east so you'll could watch the sunrise at your suggestion.

Hopefully by now you know that memories will last a lifetime. That way, we never forget those that had an affect on our lives. May those of your dad help you thru this time and cherish the time that you get to spend with those that you care about.

Tell you mom hello and to let us know if we can do anything for you. We still live same place and have the same number.

Trumbla Family - I just found out about this and am so sorry to hear about Ron. Ron and I worked together at Tandy Corporation for several years in the PR department. We relied heavily on him and his experience in the broadcast industry. He was often the only guy who could get the interview we needed for one of our executives. Prayers of comfort for your family.

Anne and family, I was so sorry to hear that Ron had passed away. I worked with him at the National Weather Service and what a great guy he was to work with. He was always so witty and could brighten any day. Many times he made me laugh out loud. I'm so fortunate to have known and worked with him. May god give you peace and comfort during this time of mourning.
