Stanley and I have been friends for 40 + yrs . Sure am gonna miss him at our monthly (old timers breakfast).Sharing life's stories together with our many other friends.
I was just a young girl when I meet Stanley working with him at Martin Sprocket & Gear. He introduced me to his son, Jim, who had just gotten home from Spain while serving in the Navy. He encouraged Jim to ask me out, and so it was that I would become part of Stanley's life for over 37 years. Jim and I spent 25 wonderful years together until Jim's death in 2001. Thank you Pop for choosing me.
I surely did love me some Uncle Stanley. He was a loving, funny light in our family. He was a great listener, a sore looser at dominoes, and the giver of some magnificent hugs. How happy Bill and Jimmy must be to see him again.
Condolences to all the family. Truly a loss.
Butler Family, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. Randy and Telea Lee
