We the Powell Family from Mansfield,Texas would like to send our sincere prayers to the entire Lockett,,,and their beautiful humble MRS.RUTH LOCKETT...who once was our musician at Bethlehem Baptist Church Mansfield,Texas. SomeYears ago,,,we all loved and played had fun with Theraye..May the lord bless and each and everyone of you under his arms~~~~~~The Late Samuel~Lucy Powell Sr. And Family(*_*)
It took me a minute to find this site. My Sis directed me to it. I miss my big sister. She always kept us in stitches growing up. She would have us laughing so much until I would develop a headache or would have to hold my stomach. I thought that I would leave this world before any of us 6 siblings because I was the sickest, but the Lord holds our future. We all live on for a purpose and I see how my sister touched so many in her own unique way. I didn't always agree with her but I always loved her and made sure she got what she needed. My sister died of lung cancer and my last ditch effort to save her from such a painful disease was a essaic tea my oldest sister Hoss told me about. I paid 2 day rush delivery for it and it showed up 7 days later. Too late for Theraye. The Lord saw to it to place her in coma to no longer feel the horific pain. Before she died a white dove came and sat outside the window of her daughter's home to escort her to Glory. I believe in my heart it was my mother in the form of that dove because it would eat and drink at our feet for 2 days and always return to the branch outside her window. When Theraye left that wednesday morning the dove was gone. Our God Is Amazing Be strong family. we all loved her..
To The Family:
We send our love and condolences to you all. Theraye was such a fun and funny person that did not ever meet a stranger. We had so much fun back in the day at Dunbar and going to church while her dear mother played for us. May God continue to bless this family.
Theraye, I will miss you tremendously. You are one of the sweetest & most caring spirits that I have ever met. You (were/are) genuine, loving, funny, kind, compassionate, thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. You were very trustworthy & I don't know if I will ever meet another person like you again. You loved your children & always spoke about your grandchildren. It's been a long time but I just want to say thank you for your friendship. May God bless, comfort, and keep your family and friends. Love, Karen, Ray, and Nick.
Rhonda and Family may God give you comfort and strength during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Many blessings to you all...
Raniel, I mentioned on Facebook already that I know all to well what you're going through. My father passed away not even two years ago. You have my deepest sympathy and if you feel like talking to someone who has been through this recently, catch me on Facebook. We'll talk.
