Weldon was a great cousin and a good friend. We shared many Navy stories. Frank L. Carter, Fort Worth
Mr. Peacock was a true gentleman and a pleasure to know. Being interested in military, aviation, and naval history I talked to him a much as I could about his experiences as a rear gunner on the TBF Avenger type airplane. To borrow a trite phrase coined by Tom Brokaw, he was truly a member of "the Greatest Generation."
MY SYMPATHY TO DONNA AND ALL HER FAMILY
My dear sweet neighbor will be missed. It was always such a joy to see Weldon. I am so blessed to have known him for this short time. Peace be with Vickie and her family.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
With deepest symapahies, from your work family and friends.
RIP to my sweet brother! You will be missed.
Weldon, with all of the Peacock family, was a treasured neighbor in Polytechnic Heights back in the 1930s-40s. And their presence n Poly High School was a significant part of its city prominence.
With sympathy and fond memories of our Poly days with the Peacock family.
