With deep sympathy, my prayers go out to the Pokluda family. Archie Johnson
So sorry for the loss of your father and grandfather. May sweet memories carry you through this difficult time.
Bill will be remembered with fond memories and a loving heart to all of those whose lives he touched. The last of the original great six (Mama Novie & Papaw, Aliene & Bill, Cat & Jack), they are all together now laughing and carrying on...and watching over us all. Peace be with you my oldest friends.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Pokluda family. Bill will be missed by all who's life he touched. I have many great memories of our families together, mostly involving food or football, but always fun. He will be missed.
I have many great memories of my years attending Rosen Hights Baptist Church, and many of them include the Pokluda family. Bill led his family with love, faith and passion. Whether it be in church, in sports, or in the city he loved, Bill gave all he had. He will be greatly missed, but I know that he and Alieen are having a blast together in Heaven! Love and miss you both!
My prayers and deepest sympathy go out to the entire Pokluda family as well as the Rosen Heights family.
Bill and Aliene were two of the nicest folks I have ever known. It was my pleasure to know them when building the tourist RR into the Stockyards and as fellow members of the North Ft Worth Historical Society. Please accept our deepest condolences.
I am so sorry to hearing of the passing of Mr. Pokluda but I am comforted to know he and Aileen are together again. Bill was was of the finest human beings I have ever known. I feel so fortunate to have known Bill and Aileen through the North Fort Worth Historical society. The family will be in my prayers.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Bill was a wonderful person and now he is complete at Aileen side. They were always a joy to me. They were like parents to me I love both of them so much. Bill was always willing to help in any way.
Iam so sorry to hear of your loss. U are in my thoughts and prayers. Your family has been special to my heart. I know that the love and fun given to my family years ago was the product of what this man instilled in generations of his loved ones. His life had such a wonderful impact in this world. Love u all
Growing up I had numerous male role models in my church. One of them was Bill Pokluda. Bill was the type of person everyone should strive to be! His dedication to his family, to his faith and to his church are hard to find. He taught me integrity, loyalty, compassion and dedication without ever muttering a word. Bill lived his life in such a way that words cannot explain and only the heart can understand. Thank you Bill for the life you lived, the love you shared and the legacy in which you pass on!! I could never say thank you enough for all you have done for me and my family throughout the years, my only hope is that I can live my life and teach the boys in my care some of the things you taught me. I am a much better person for having known you! Farewell good and faithful serveant, may you rest now in the arms of our loving Father!!
Loved this man. He was my coach at Rosen Heights Bapt.girls softball team. He was always encouraging us to do our best. North Side and Rosen Heights will truly miss this "gentle giant".
