Sharon - L.G. was a good man - a big man - a great man who took it on himself to take care of people who couldn't help themselves. Always generous, always helpful, but never intrusive, he'd do his best to make you feel better, while doing the unsavoury, down-to-earth necessities with steadfast integrity. As someone else on here said, he told it like it was and had a heart of gold. Both proud and humble at the same time, a man who faced and dealt with the reality of things - when you met him, you knew you were in Texas. One of the stalwart bulwarks who I took for granted in my life - he will definitely be in heaven now. I hope he's having a great time up there and Heaven is prepared for his big voice and big hat. Dad and Mother will be giving him a big welcome. I can hear him laughing now. But I'll still shed a tear that he's gone.
