Charleen was an exceptional women, wife, mother and grandmother. She was justifiable proud of her accomplisments but her greatest was the family she cherished.
She loved Tris and adored her beautiful daughter Vivian and her four grandchildren.
There are many fond memories of our conversations at family gatherings. My father was so happy when having sparing conversations during that time.
Everyone in the family will miss her quick intelligent wit.

Vivian and Tris, I have such fond memories of our families growing up together. I remember our parent's working hard to set up the much anticipated South Hill's carnival! Your Mom was a wonderful and accomplished woman. My heart goes out to you, your father and your family. Warmest Regards, Kellie Housewright Smith

Such fond memories come back as we reflect on the relationship our tow families shared over the years. Charleen was God Mother to my sister, and we went through old family mementos today. My thoughts are with the family during this time of loss. All of my sincere sympathy Vivian and Tris.
