You are forever in God's presence!...And, never forgotten!
July 9, 2014
Hey Dad...it's been a week, since you had to go. I am so happy for you! I knew you were holding on, and how I wish you wouldn't have. You wanted to stay with us-but what a much better place you are in, surrounded with loved one's and Our Heavenly Father.

I hope you saw the beautiful service, you were given. Carmen did the video, took remembrance photos, and made all the flyers and fans; Carmen and Allie got the Patriot Guard-which was AMAZING! Chris read, at church, and played "Taps". Felicia read, Anne helped in the kitchen with all our Church family. "Nonna's" (and family) even made it in from Kentucky. She was beautiful! She presented Mom with a flag.
Dad I know your wish was to be cremated....but this was all done with love.

So many family and friends have given to the Building Fund, in your memory (which is great!).

How proud I am of you and our family! It was my great privilege and honor to be apart of your life and "going home" service.

Thank you for being a most gracious man and allowing me to help you with Walmart stuff, medications, doctor appointments, driving for you, taking care of your van and "shadowing you". I know you wanted to be independent-I wanted you to depend on me!

I may be tearful at every 400pm mass; I still see you slowing down, then came the times you would wait for me. Now I must go on-without you...I am sad for me; but happy for you.

You are missed...you are loved!

-Dennie aka "Baby"

(I end this with the nightly prayers we would say together: "Our Father..." and "Now I lay me down to sleep...")

Rita, my dear friend, how blessed you were to have 35 years to share with each other. Can you imagine the joy in heaven as Harold enters, and the reunions he will have with so many others...including Mom. She loved you guys so much. My prayers are with you and all the family during your time of loss. I'm here if you need me.
