Herlinda Casas

1937 - 2014

Our beloved mother and friend, Herlinda Casas, went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, June 1, 2014. Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Jude Catholic Church in Mansfield with processional and burial immediately following in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Viewing: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home, Fort Worth. The strength of her faith resonated in everything she did and everyone she touched. She spent every day of her life caring for others and always put her family first. Linda was everyone's Granny. She enjoyed spending her time quilting, sewing, and being with her children and their families. She was a strong and amazing woman who never backed down from a challenge and always worked hard to achieve every goal she set. She will be deeply missed. Herlinda was preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Casas; a daughter, Guadalupe Casas; and a brother, Juan Rosales. Survivors: Her brothers, Ernesto Rosales and Santiago Rosales; sister, Ester Rosales; children, Ignacio Casas, Rosa Casas, Juan Casas, George Casas, Linda Nicolls, Olga Leyh and Nancy Heimbach; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
