Dear Pat, Mark, Marci and family. We were so sad to hear about Hoot. As David said "one of my all time favorite people". He was truly a good man. We would have been at the service but only found out today that it was today. He touched SO many lives. ...Including ours. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God comfort you. It was my privilege to have worked with this very wonderful man at the H-E-B Administration Bldg for 5 years. We all loved him and knew we were fortunate to have known him. He was truly special. My deepest sympathies to you, Pat and to all your wonderful family.

A man among men who taught "life skills" to his athletes and we didn't even know it. He influenced a lot of us in ways he never knew. Someday, in Heaven, he will know as we all line up to shake his hand and listen to him tell us a Proverb.
