It was an honor to represent Mr. Ford and give him a great homecoming. God bless the familty.

Lt. William E. Olds (TCSO Honor Guard)

Jim Ford...what can I say. He was one of the most honorable men I have ever known. I never heard him say a cross word about anyone. He dedicated himself to his work and to the city that he served for so many years. If Jim was working a case you knew that it would be done right! His style of investigation was one of a kind and the persons that he touched are a testament to that. I worked with him for many years and admired his amazing talents. You can never replace a Jim Ford, he didnt leave a mark, he left a gash in this life. When you were in his presence you knew that you were in the presence of a legend. He did not boast or brag, he just did his job with integrity and grace. If I could be remembered for a 10th of what he is I will consider myself fortunate. Jim is now in perfect rest, a rest that is well deserved. He toiled as know one else in the profession that he loved. To his family that he loved and reared, you will miss him deeply, but take comfort for now Jim is wrapped in the dreamless drapery of eternal peace.

A wonderful human being who helped so many people. Never to be forgotten by anyone who met him. Family business kept me from the services but my heart and mind are there today.
