Ms Buffalo,
Life is a journey and I believe Mr. Buffalo had a wonderful one, with a great partner. We will cherish the wonderful memories of him. Our family was so gratful to have the two of you as our neighbors. Zak always thought of Mr. Buffalo as the grandfather he never had. He was an inspiration.
Our sincerest sympathy for your family.

Mrs Buffalo & Joan: My name is Larry Hurt son of C.R.(Bob)& Lois Hurt. Three generations of the Hurt family worked for your husband/father on the Rock Island. He was very respected in the railroad community by not only the management staff but employees in the field. He always would take time to talk to them and ask how their families were doing and more often than not knew the names of their family members. I know my mom and dad had great respect for Mr. Buffalo and family. Dad was proud to have worked for him both on the Rock Island & TRRA. Speaking for three generations of the HURT family it was a privilege to have worked and known Mr J.B. Buffalo.
May God Bless.
