Louise Kimerer was a friend of mine and one of sweetest and most spiritual people I have ever met. She donated a lot of her beautiful paintings to Harris hospital, Fort Worth where I work. I am sorry that I did not get to know when she passed away. I would have not missed her funeral. May she be Blessed with Eternal Peace. I am sure she is in a wonderful place.

I became acquainted with Louise when I moved to Broadway Plaza. She quickly took me in and was most warm and welcoming. Coming from Houston, I knew nothing of her artwork. I did see paintings hung here at Broadway. I was impressed by them before I knew she was the artist. My life has certainly been blessed by knowing this beautiful, talented, gracious lady. May the special memories each of you hold bring you comfort and peace.

Some of Louise's wonderful art work hangs at BRIT and I remember so vividly the first painting she did for us. She told me she was inspired by our mission of conservation and she created a wonderful wildflower painting in the round. It hung at our old space downtown and now hangs in our new LEED Platinum building adjacent to the Botanical Garden. Her other donated art work permeates our building. She was a great person, a fervent and productive artist, a conservationist, and she will be sorely missed.
