I was one of the young women who majored in McLeod at Tarleton in the 1960s.He taught most of our education classes, then sent us out to be good teachers. My husband, young son and I lived just about a half mile from you, when you lived at the intersection. One day my son (age four) and I stopped to see your Inndian arrow head collection. Then you moved out on the hill above Littleton' s garage. About twenty two years ago we bought a place in behind Rocky Point Church. I frequently thought of the two of you, such nice people, when driving home from town. Dr. McLeod was a good teacher. He and Virgin I a Years old helped me become a good teacher. Even now, at almost seventy, I love to get a sub call, because it means I can go and do what I learned from those two great educators, and love some kids for a day. Marilyn Godfrey
