Miguel Angel Ramos, 90, passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at the graveside in Greenwood Memorial Park. Ramos was born May 3, 1922, in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He served in the military during World War II. He later moved to New York City, where he retired from General Motors. Survivors: His beloved wife of 67 years, Lydia; daughters, Sonia Martinez and husband, Raul "Rojo," and Alma Martinez; grandchildren, Alma Gutierrez, Tony Pelaez, Belinda Theobald, Melinda Martinez and David, Juan and Angel Martinez; great-grandchildren, Diana Castaneda, Jessica and Joshua Gutierrez, Alex and Andrew Villacis, Chloe Theobald, Isabella Martinez, Jonathan Chavez, Talia, Carina and Juan Martinez Jr. and Allyson Pelaez.

For 67 you were husband,father and uncle to your wife, children, grandchildren and nephews and nieces. You were a prime example of a family man. In my eyes you were a Man's man. Thank you for loving and caring for my aunt Lydia. You were an ideal to be looked up to. You will be remembered as that; a good and decent Man to the very end. I personally will miss you and cherish your memory. God Speed Tío Miguel.
