What a wonderful man. My husband Keith and I loved seeing Preston and Colleen while in Ft Worth for the cutting horse futurity. I was related to Preston through the Giesecke family. God bless the Gerens.

I would like for the Geren family to know what an impact their father had on my life. He was a mentor at Nash Elementary School where I was a Kinder/1st grade teacher. He mentored several of my students over the years and I can tell you he made a impact on their lives. One of his students he started with, I believe in Kinder with me, and stayed with her through 5th grade, graduated 1 year early and is attending TCJC to become a nurse. He was the ultimate gentleman, like my father, always willing to help and listen. He gave to these children something that there was no one else able to give at the time. I will always remember him as a man to be truly admired, respected and one who said I will make a difference in these children's life and he did. Thank you, Preston Geren for all you gave to the children of Ft. Worth school system. Cheryl Scott, Teacher, Fort Worth ISD.

The Fort Worth Business Press wrote an article recently that is representative of how Mr. Geren told me he would want to be remembered.
