God Bless You My Marine Brother!
August 11, 2014
Rex,

I just found out about your passing today 8-11-2014 from Brian Kindschy. You been gone almost a year brother and I didn't know. I have been working outside the United States ( Japan, Taiwan & Korea ) for the last two and half years. My thoughts are with you buddy and your family. I can't imagine the lose they feel and I feel bad knowing you are gone and I didn't know about it. We go back a long ways. All the way back to Junior High Wrestling, Senior High Wrestling and Boot Camp in the Marine Corp. You were one of the best Marines in our platoon and I will always remember you at Tomah when we wrestled against you guys. We will see each other again in due time. I will always remember your friendship. God Bless you Rex.

Semper Fi Brother,

Rick Brohmer
United States Marine Corp

Rex,

I only found out of your death today from Doyle as I have been working outside the United States for the last three years. My thoughts are with your family and I can not imagine the lose they most feel. Meeting you in Connecticut instantly delivered a feeling of comfort from brought on by your professionalism but most importantly your fraternal kindness and willingness to do anything you could to assist me. Although I did not have the opportunity to work with you on a daily basis and regret not being able to learn more from you, I do treasure my time with you in our professional endeavors. My most enjoyable thoughts are having you in my home and cooking my Texan brothers a feast that you spoke of often and I felt privileged to be able to have you in my home and around my family in a relaxing environment. Your love for your job and family was clear and you were a happy man, which is contagious to all around you. Hearing you tell stories about your passions and most importantly your family is a memorable time. Your leadership, friendship and spirit will not be forgotten and you will remain in my thoughts.

Semper Fi Brother

Mrs. Rixie, I am so sorry for your loss. Rex was a GREAT man and it was a privilege to have known him. I interacted with him for 25 years as I use to work for Sundance, too. He helped me with a few interesting situations. He was a hoot to know. Very truly, Debbie Ruffu
