Richard was an outstanding employee. Working with the Watson students. You in my thoughts and prayers.

Rick was one of the good guys. He was a wonderful mentor and champion for me in Boy Scout Advancement when he was involved with the council advancement committee and I was a new assistant district advancement chairman. Not only that, but he, like me, was a Bobwhite, the perennial underdogs in Woodbadge training. Several years later, after I moved away, I was compiling a history and database of Squadron 8 in Texas A&M's Corps of Cadets (my husband's and sons' outfit), and was delighted to learn that Rick had spent his freshman year in Sq. 8. Now I find that Rick grew up in Amarillo, where I spent ten years after leaving Ft. Worth. I will always remember Rick as a wonderful, kind man; he will be sorely missed.

Dear Barbara,
My heartfelt sympathy pours out to you and your family. It was a privlege to know Rick. His service to Scouting will always be appreciated. May his soul rest in peace. Please be assured, you and yours are in my thoughts and prayers.
