Sharon Beggs, 71, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Sharon was born Feb. 13, 1941, in Fort Worth to Ruby and James Redding. She was an avid poker player. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, James William Beggs; her parents; and brother, Arthur Wayne Redding. Survivors: Sons, Gene Allen Beggs, Carl Wayne Beggs and James Gary Beggs; grandchildren, Magen Alysia Beggs, James Aaron Beggs and Teia Beggs; brother, James Redding; and sister-in-law and dear friend, Shirley Read.
