One of the kindest and dearest gentlemen I have ever met in my life. It was an honor to have worked with Mr. Blackmon, they broke the mold after he was born. Condolences to his surviving family and friends he will surely be missed!

Mr. Blackman hired me right out of college. I worked for him as a manager trainee. He taught me a lot about leadersip. He was a great family man. He will be missed by all of us who developed under his management. My condolences to Scott and the rest of the family!

I only learned of Mr. Blackmon's passing today, but I wanted to say "thank you" for the opportunity that him and Mr Mooring provided me over 30 years ago. He was truly a great man that left a legacy that the entire family can always cherish. I cannot ever remember seeing him without a smile and a word of encouragement. Kirk, Bill and Greg, may you continue to walk in the footsteps that he has laid before you. May God continue to bless you all.
