To the family of Congressman Bill Young;

Although we didn't know Congressman and Bev personally, they played a very important part in our lives and the lives of our son and his family. I know without a doubt that my son would not be alive today if they had not intervened. They cared about what was happening with him when he got back from Iraq. They made it possible for him to be put into the Wounded Warriors program so that he could get the right help he needed.

Congressman Young was a very special man and will be truly missed by the thousands of people he and Bev helped. Thank you so much Bill and Bev for your loving and caring spirit. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Sincerely, Nancy and Guy Sheble

Beverly, words can't express the appreciation, respect, and loyalty I have to you and Bill for all that you've done for me. Bill was a true leader in every sense of the word. I only hope that I can live up to the same example he set for the rest of us. My deepest condolences and best wishes to you and your family.

To Beverly and family:

Words cannot express the sincere appreciation and admiration of your loved one.

We are but one family of thousands that were personally touched by his gracious assistance, and yours, Bev, when we were concerned about our deployed soldier overseas. You both were there for us.

Prior to this, I did not miss voting for the Congressman every year he was up for election/re-election. And, there are thousands like myself. How could we not? Every year he did so much to bring resources and assistance to our county. He was approachable, caring, and one of the most dedicated public servants to his public every to have served in Congress.

Sincere condolences to the Young family. We will miss your loved one. Thank you for sharing him with Florida, with the Nation. He was truly a good man, respected and appreciated and he lives on in the hearts of everyone he touched.

God Bless you all.

I miss you, Bill, and am having trouble accepting the fact that you won't be coming through the front door. You suffered for so long and you fought so hard to stay with us. I'm happy your final flight was on the wings of an angel. Rest in Peace, honey. I will always love you.

Mr. Chairman,
We all miss you dearly. You spent your entire life selflessly giving to others, asking for nothing in return. You saved countless lives, and enriched many more. Now, you can relax and enjoy your just reward. Pray for us, please. We need lots of help down here. With fondest love, Karl, Beth, Bonnie, Jon, Margaret, Todd, Cora, and Grandma Van

my deepest condolences to all of the young family. congressman young's name became a household name from the time we moved to largo, fl. in 1957. each election year i was proud to vote for a man that i had grown up knowing through the years and had such great respect and admiration for. my mother worked at 2 banks and always remarked to our family if she had waited on mr. young on any given day. my first thought when i heard of mr. young's passing was that my mom and dad would be standing there in Heaven welcoming congressman young on the start of his next journey. may God be with the family giving you strength each day.

Dear Young Family,

It is with a sad heart that I must send this letter.

I wish to provide my sincerest condolences on the passing of your husband & father, Congressman C. W. Bill Young.

I would like to take this time to again thank Congressman Young for all his work and support in establishing the Bay Pines VA wildlife refuge and for all the years of giving and great accomplishments here in Florida and also in Washington D.C.

I had requested his assistance with creating this refuge and he honored me by sending me a letter regarding this and also by making this wonderful project come to reality. On April 4, 1982 the Bay Pines VA wildlife refuge was created which has allowed many veterans and visitors to the adjacent park the opportunity to view the wildlife.

In addition, now Congressman Young will always be at rest at Bay Pines and in spirit will protect the VA's wildlife setting.

The State of Florida, the United States Government and the world overall has lost an honorable, hardworking and wonderful person who will be missed deeply by all.

God Bless you and your family,
Tony Lozon E.C Ret.
