Charlie was an outstanding educator in his years at Upper Arlington High School and touched many young lives in a very positive way. He was a mentor to many young teachers who passed through the UA system and his compassion, leadership, and genuine caring for others will be remembered by many.

Charlie Will, Ellis Lutz, VK, Mrs. Ripley - we not only learned from them but loved learning, thanks to them. Their classes were fun & "outside the box." We now add Charlie's name to the Always Missed list, & we are so very sorry for everyone of us who have lost him.

Mr. Will, Mr. Lutz, and Miss Randall were all such inspiring teachers that I too pursued a career in the teaching of English. And what a rewarding career it has been! Thanks, Mr. Will, for opening the world of books to me and for being one of the three major cheerleaders of my young life. Jim McGavran

Gave me the gift of Shakespeare--Can that be topped? Thanks, Mr. Will, from all of us.

My mother, Floa Ripley, will truly welcome Mr. Will upon his arrival in heaven! He was always one of her favorite mentors at Upper Arlington. The fond memories he leaves inspire all of us to achieve to our greatest potential. A great leader and friend - he will truly be missed.
