Tracy,

So sorry to hear of your father's death. He was a fine gentleman and a fine racer.

My condolences.

Tracy, Danny and Sally, you, your father and your mother were family to us Millers. Your father always remembered my birthday and Christmas and was so kind and generous to me and my parents my whole life. We all loved him. More than anyone else he helped me get through my own father's death. He held a special tree planting memorial and dinner for our whole extended family at the CCC which he planned with just me for Bud. He insisted on personally driving me around the course to pick the perfect spot for the perfect tree. He even got the club to remove a tree that was already in that perfect spot overlooking the 1st tee and 3rd green. He insisted that there be a written program and that we'd all speak. He said that it was the first time that he'd ever personally spoken at a memorial service except for one of his dogs, and he said that Bud would have appreciated that fact. We all couldn't help smiling as he was right; Bud would have appreciated that fact as he loved dogs and your dad and not in that order. I am so grateful that he was my godfather and my father's best friend. I can't believe that I will never see him again. You were all blessed to have him as your father, and my heart breaks at your loss.
