Was out early this morning, looked up at the Orion constellation and remembered Mr. Francetic who sparked my lifelong interest in astronomy. Helping out in the planetarium and stargazing in his backyard on Hemlock Drive will always be special memories for me. Thanks for bringing the universe down to earth!

I worked with Dan in the science department for many years. He was a well respected teacher and colleague. He made his love of astronomy evident to all of us. My prayers to his family as you grieve this loss.

dear Donna and family, so sorry to hear of the passing of your Father. he was a great teacher and you all are a beautiful family. I pray that the God of all comfort will not only be your comfort at this time but that He would make His sweet presence know to you each day to come. I pray that the Hope that we have in Jesus and heaven will also be a constant comfort. God Bless you all so much.

Mr. Francetic was a nurturing and caring educator. As his student, I was disillusioned with high school until he pulled me aside and gave me an empowering pep talk my senior year, 1996. His gentle and quiet encouragement helped me to do better in class. I am sure that I would not have graduated without him and later become the educator I am today. I am forever grateful to him and his dedication. My condolences to his family.

Dear Mrs. Francetic, Brian & Lisa, and Family,
We were so sad to hear about the passing of Mr. Francetic. He was always so kind and interesting to talk to. We have many nice memeories, but one we often talk about is when he took the time to color a picture with Liliana (then about 2 years old) at Betty's clam bake. What a wonderful man. We will miss him. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
