Darlene R. (Smith) Day was born on July 20, 1922 and passed to the beyond on October 5, 2017. She was a 1941 graduate of Johnstown Monroe High School. Darlene retired from General Motors in 1982 after 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Day, parents Frank C. and Mildred (Ferrell) Smith, brothers Frank Smith, Jr. and Roger Smith and her sister Margie Ross. Darlene is survived by her son, Don (Sally) Day; grandchildren, Megan (George) Ullinskey and Andrew Day; and great-grandchildren, Madeleine, Alison, and Alexis Snare. Services will be private. Darlene was a beautiful person inside and out she knew me as T J since I was a baby she will be sadly missed by all who knew her thoughts and prayers for the family
