I am very sorry for your loss. Don and I were friends throughout our undergraduate days at Ohio State. We met the first week of our first quarter on campus. He was a kid from the sticks in Norton and I was a kid from the sticks in Tallmadge and there we were sitting in a chemistry class at this huge university. We became friends and remained friends until we separated at graduation - in fact there was a small cadre of chemistry majors who trudged in and out labs and shared complaints with each other for four years. One of my most vivid memories from our first quarter on campus was the day Don and I were talking in chemistry class late on afternoon and decided to meet on the oval that evening to join the Rose Bowl riots. We milled around and watched what was going on and had a great time.Although we lost track after graduation I have thought about him frequently over the years and was saddened by the news. Don was a good person.

Dear Ann,

I was so sorry to learn of Don's passing. I worked with him in Employment. I told him one time that one of the best things about his being my boss was his sense of humor. He will be missed.

My dearest friend, I am so very sorry for the loss of our Don. He walked me down the isle at our wedding 35 years ago and he will always hold a special place in my heart.
With love,
