Edgar Turner, 88, died August 25, 2017 after a short battle with cancer with his wife Donna and son David by his side. Graduate of Lancaster High School, 1947, Ohio University, 1951 and from the Ohio State University, 1956. He served his country in the Army, was deployed to Germany serving oversea for 18 months with an artillery unit. He was honorably discharged February 1960. Ed was employed by The Columbus and Southern Ohio Electric Company and American Electric Power Company he served as accountant. He was predeceased by daughter Karen Gregory, sister Betty Gebhard of Edgerton, Ohio and his parents Catherine D. Turner and Charles A. Turner of Lancaster, Ohio. He is survived by son, David and his wife, Bridget and sons, Ian and William in California; nephew, Paul Gebhard and his wife, Barbara in West Virginia, sons, Chris and Curtis; and grandchildren; niece, Cathy Bollers and husband, Ken live in Colorado.
