PBS introduced us, Mr.Thornton. Your portrayal on "Served" so well done, I was able to sit, despite a medical problem, to enjoy so many nights of pure laughter. Thanks for your work. Bless you and the family which now misses you.

What an actor! What a show "Are You Being Served?" was. I think all the main actors/actresses from it are gone now. I continue to watch faithfully. Mr. Thornton's family must be so proud of him. My sympathy to them.

God Bless you Captain Peacock. We will always love you. Thank you

We will forever remember his excellent portrayal of "Captain Peacock". Even though a few cast members still remain, it feels as if Grace Brothers has turned off the store lights and closed their doors. With sympathy to his family.
