Leffel Georgetta Betty Leffel "Nanny" died Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Gardiner Alzheimer Care Center at the age of 90. She was born November 1, 1926 in Upsheer County, West Virginia. Betty moved to Columbus, Ohio where she met and married her life-long partner, Bobby Leffel. Betty is survived by son, Thomas B Leffel, wife, Joyce Ann and grandson, Arie B. Leffel, of Darbyville OH: daughter, Patricia A Thompson, husband, David, grandchildren, Jason D. and Alyson L. and great grandchildren. Gage D. L. Thompson, and David Scott Edwards, all of Richmond ME; brother, Ronald, and wife, Sharon Bell of Ashland KY; and sister, Janice (Mickey) Depp of Dayton OH; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and, great-nephews; as well as special members of family of her heart. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Gardiner Alzheimer's Care Center in memory of Betty Leffel, 154 Dresden Ave. Gardiner Maine 04345.
