To the slaughter family, may God bring you comfort and peace during your time of grief. Asijah's bashfulness and bright smile were always a joy to see. Bless God, she now dances with the Angels and her mom as they watch over you all!

Dear David and Family,
So sorry for the passing of Asijah but the belief that she has passed on to a beautiful new home is a blessing.
I worked in the classroom with Asijah at Mc Cord Middle School. Her smile and laughter would fill the classroom and it was contagious! Bless you all!

My daughter Maddie and Asijah did Special Olympics together and attended WKHS together also. They were also great friends at the ARC, and engaged in many hug-a-thons. Maddie doesn't understand where her friend has gone, but she will miss her special friend. We are thinking of you and sending prayers of comfort your way.

Asijah was in my brother Sean's multihandicapped class his last year at Kilbourne. She had one of the biggest smiles I've ever seen. Her time on Earth may have been brief, but she definitely left an indelible mark. Asijah, you touched many lives and will definitely be missed.
