My sympathy goes to Jean's family. Although I didn't know her, every DZ sister is valuable to me. The Columbus Delta Zeta Alumnae Chapter sends our condolences.

Tom, Carol and Karen and families,

We enjoyed Jean's zest for life, her strength and even her strong opinions, which we sometimes disagreed with.
This year in Molokai I told her she was an inspiration for aging gracefully. She pooh-poohed it but I think she liked hearing it!

Our thoughts are with you all.

Your passing came as a shock to all of us and I figure you came into this world on your terms and you were leaving on your terms. You are and will always be a very special person in my heart. I sure am going to miss your famous ginger bread men. Thank you for letting me call you grandma.
