May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
When you marry people the saying is that you marry the entire family and this phenomenal mother-in-law was one that I didn't mind sharing in that. she always made everyone feel special. even on Christmas day you had something under the tree whether you were a stranger or family. Mom is what I called her and even though we ended up parting ways I will never forget her saying she will always be mom. To this day I sometimes talk about her making the best chocolate cake and sweet potato pies! She did live a very long and full life and now this angel is resting in Heaven. We send our deepest condolences to all of you!
To Qaun: So sorry to hear about the passing of your grandmother. My heart goes out to you. She was a good woman and treated everyone with love. Loved to hear her sing. She will always be remembered by those of us who attended Travelers Rest. My prayers go out to you at this time.

Our deepest condolences to the family. I will always treasure the memories of the times we shared when I visited there and her always welcoming me like part of the family, always loving and kind.
