To the Family of Bill Adams my deepest condolences. I have great memories of Bill he always called me his Namesake because we share the same first name. He loved politics and was a faithfull democrat always ready to help out where he could. As past chair of the Franklin County Democratic Party I say to you all that Bill will be sorely missed, our Central Committees meetings will not be the same without him. Our faith tells us that he is in a much better place, glory to God the most highest.

God Bless you all.

Bill's namesake,

Bill Anthony

I was so saddened to hear we have lost another warrior! God has gained an angel. I just spent time discussing Boy Scouts with Mr. Adams on the day of his passing. We rode the elevator together and spent all our time talking about how great the Boy Scouts are. I told him my dad and my husband were very active boy scouts and how I feel it really makes a boy a man. He was so excited to know the Capital Kids are responding so positively to the program. Mr. Adams will surely be missed! So sorry you won't get to meet our group of Cub Scouts! May God continue to bless and strengthen your family.

May you know God will see you through this difficult time.

During my time as pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic church, Bill Adams pastored many of us in the neighborhood, young and old, Catholic and Protestant, black and white. Just as he helped our school children cross Fifth Avenue safely after school, he helped the adults of the neighborhood to cross over walls of separation safely. He was a bridge who became the soul of our neighborhood. For him, I and so many others thank God. Father Ron Atwood

Sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Adams was a wonderful man. He was the most kindest person I have ever known in the school district. He will be sadly missed by the students as well as the parents. But rest comfortably knowing he has gone home to be with the Lord. I will keep each and everyone of you in our prayers.

Mr. Adams was a constant in my times at Krumm Park, I will miss him sincerely. Over the years, he and my dad had breakfast with me sharing Columbus history that many do not get a chance to hear. I wish Mr. Adams' family the best and will always seek to live as Mr. Adams did, with community at the heart of it all!
May we strive to have a contribution to our community, world, and family as did Mr. Adams!!

I will long remember the meeting of Hilltop Kiwanis. When you spoke people listened. When you passed, God smiled. I am proud to have known you.
November 21, 2012
I wish to extend my sincere condolences to the Adams family. "Buster" was a sweetheart and I loved him from the start. He was a gentleman, knowledgeable of all kinds of stuff and a role model for all. He recruited me as his secretary and I saw him doing so many good things, for so many people. It was incredible. He was a community hero.
He was always recruiting for the Kiwanis Club; always working with his Cub Scout Troop and thinking about the students and staff of East Columbus Elementary School. He always volunteered his talents, (and mine) and energy, for the good of all Columbus citizens - young and old through the Meals on Wheels Program, the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department, the Christ the King Food Bank, Summit Trace Nursing Home, Krum Park and the Airport Expansion House Buy-Back Program. I don't know where he got all his energy or how he could keep track of everything he was doing. Just thinking of him makes me shake my head and smile.
As a Korean War Veteran, he was most proud of being asked to lead the "Pledge of Allegiance" at one of President Obama's Columbus visits. "Buster" was a wonderful person. He laughed and knew how to have fun. He always thanked God for his blessings. I'll miss him greatly, but I'm comforted, as I hope you are, by knowing he's with God.

The very first time I met Bill, he was doing for others as he brought Milous Keith to a Kiwanis meeting. The last time I saw Bill he was presiding over a Kiwanis Division Board meeting. I was so proud of Bill when he became Lt. Governor. I hope to emulate Bill and how he always found ways to give of himself to the community. He will live on in my heart.

November 20, 2012
Thank God for Mr. Bill Adams!!! He, willingly, shared himself and his knowledge with so many people, in so many varied facets of life: from young men with scouting, to the political arena, a champion of children via recreation, as well as adults within the International Kiwanis Community. He, also, always honored Mr.. Milus Keith, a Franklinton Kiwanis member. We have been blessed to know Mr. Adams....and, also, honored to have served with him and under him as he was our past President and current Lt. Governor.

Everyone who knew Bill knew his smile, his positive attitude and his dedication to his community. Through his active membership in the Franklinton Kiwanis club, he helped his community through many service projects. As the current Ohio Kiwanis District 10-W Lt. Governor, he provided vision to Kiwanis clubs throughout central Ohio. He was a great friend of the downtown Kiwanis Club of Columbus and will be missed dearly.
