Uncle Ronnie was larger than life. He welcomed me into his extended family with open arms, as if he always knew me and we were long lost friends. He treated Marianne like his own and cherished his sister Sonnie. I will be always grateful of his love for Sonnie and Marianne. God's blessings.

I am so very sorry to hear of Ron's death. In my younger years I was privileged to share lots of good times with him. He was truly a great man and a great friend and will be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Dawn and Darren.

To the Burkey Family, so sad to hear of your loss. The last time I was back in Ohio, I played golf with Ron as my partner at Apple Valley, I have never forgotten that outing because of the fun I had with Ron he made my day. He was an awesome athlete at Linden McKinley with True Sportsmanship and Class. Not many like him.
