Joseph M. Howard, 39, of Mt. Sterling, died July 29, 2017. He was born September 25, 1977 in London, Ohio. He was a 1995 graduate of Westfall High School (Pickaway-Ross Vocational). Preceded in death by father Glenn W. Howard, grandparents Bob and Edith Gordon, Rodger and Barb Gammell, grandfather Paul Howard, Sr. Survived by mother, Beverly Howard; children, Donovan Howard, Breanna Culbertson, Mahala Jo Howard and Jonathon Howard; sisters, Karen Vickers and Erin Newsome; grandmother, Audrey Howard. Family will receive friends on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorial contributions be given to the funeral home to help defray the cost of funeral services. Online condolences to www.tiddfuneralservices.com.

I Didn't Know Joe And Becky Very Long But What I Can Say About Joe Is He Was A Loyal Loving Husband And Father And Friend There Was Never A Time That I Seen Him When He Wasn't Talking About His Family's Accomplishments Or Goal's He Was Very Quick To Tare The Mouth Off Anyone Who Had Any Negative Thing To Say Against The One's He Loved Last Time He Came By We Talked About What His Plans Were Starting Over A New Life.He Was Excited And Said That When I Was Ready To Move Away From Everything That's Holding Me Back That Him And Becky Would Be There No One Will Ever Know What That Ment To Me You Will Never Be Forgotten And Becky Please Never Forget I'm Here Anytime.May God Bless All Of you.

The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family.
