Dear Mrs. Northrup and Curt,
I was heartbroken to learn of Judy's passing. We had been friends since attending TU together. We were in the same sorority and she was one of my favorite people in the world. Judy encouraged me to attend law school and she is the reason I became a lawyer. We had not seen each other in many years, but each Christmas we exchanged long chatty letters catching each other up on the events of our lives. I always so looked forward to receiving her letter each year, as I knew it would be full of funny and interesting tales of her life. I so wish we had made more of an effort to see each other one more time. She will be missed and remembered by me forever.

Judy will always hold a special place in my heart. It was an honor to play violin with her and compete against other violinists at contest. We attended the University of Tulsa together and would meet at the bookstore to hold a place in line for one another. I hope she knew just how much I cared for her and our friendship. I pray that God will comfort you and give you peace.

Mrs. Northrup and Curtis: I was saddened to learn today of Judy's passing. Even though I hadn't seen her since high school, I remember her so well as a delightful and happy person. Never once do I remember Judy having a bad day. All of these wonderful posts are quite a testament to her, and to your family. God bless....

Dear Mrs. Northup and Curt,
Please accept our sincere condolences for your loss. Judy was a wonderful neighbor and good friend. We spent many fun times with her, having dinner, late night drinks on the lawn and going to the movies. She was a woman of many interests and an avid reader. One of my fondest memories is seeing her sitting on the back porch in the summer sun, relaxing and reading. Seeing her enjoying the day and her book meant, “All was well with the world”. My husband and I will hold her memory close to our hearts.

Judy was my best friend for 30 years. We were law students together at OSU along with my husband Matt and we all lived together in a rooming house called "the Law Club". She was a brilliant student and was selected to the prestigious Law Journal. Judy was a beloved member of our family, "Aunt Judy" to my 5 kids, and godmother of my son Rammy. She was my confidante and sounding board, a friend who was fun and witty, always good-humored, and one of the smartest people I have ever known. I wish I had known that her July 27th birthday dinner was the last time I would ever see her. I wish she was still here. We are devastated. Our heartfelt condolences to Curtis and Judy's mom.
