A soul and spirit as pure and loving as Karen Anderson cannot be defined with mere words. Her compassion, love of life, generosity, and ability to touch our hearts were evident with every breath she breathed. She walked among us on this earthly plane, but i always felt she was much more evolved than most human beings on the planet. She exhibited tenderness, grace, selflessness, and unconditional love and respect not only for all living things, but also for every atom on earth. Her legacy is one of tolerance, kindness, and generosity...she made the world a better place because she was here, and she will always be with us. When i look into the eyes of an animal, when i see a bird soaring, when i hear a ukelele, when i hear a joke, when i feel peace, love, and serenity, I will remember wonderful Karen. I love you, Sweet Girl... Sherri

I have wonderful memories from out time at COSI. Her boundless energy, positive attitude and love of life were infectious, and made everyone around her love their job and working with her. Her light and love will be sorely missed.

My heart is heavy but I know Karen is happy to be soaring on her wings! I am sorry for your loss. She touched the lives of everyone she met and her humor was contagious. I am so glad she made it to our staff reunion in april.

Karen, or Little Rock (her camp Whip Poor Will name) made such a positive impact on my life almost a quarter century ago. Her humor, smiles, caring spirit, sharp whit - I remember so strongly even though our paths had not passed in perhaps 10 years now. Deepest sympathies to Audrey, Karl, Ruby, and all who loved her. Let the love and light she brought to this world sustain you.
