Hi Jeff,
So sorry to hear about Karen. I hope you are doing well. My wife and I were in Newport last fall and I thought of you and Karen and our dinners when we were young. The Brick Alley Pub is still there. I hope you´re moving on, but I can only imagine. Tim Howe

Dear Jeff, Joe, Grandchildren and sibs. We extend our love, prayers and sympathy to you all. Karen so loved you and over the many years of knowing Karen (probably 24) have seen how she loves all of you; loves Christ, loves the Church, loves to be, give, share and has always poured herself out in being a part of making things beautiful, rich and memorable. being a part of our document study together at Peggy's house, dedication and countless hours of serving the work of Bethesda Healing Ministry in every capacity' and our lives lived in close proximity as we both worked at Directions Counseling Group...and life in general. The marriage of Joe and birth of the beautiful grandchildren she often sent pix so we could see how special they were. Karen gave out of her natural spirit of humble service. She and Jeff were a team who without question loved each other, their family, the Dominicans, the Church and all on which they spent their time...and they left memories of great times. As always I so wish we had had more time together over these past few years...but every meeting and conversation was filled with 'let's get to gether'. Jeff, we cannot know your longing and grief but we enter as best we can into the mystery of your loving marriage, joy and delight in each other and others. Might we assist you down the road when pain is not so raw..with others who love you both so much for perhaps a memorial Mass with a friendship potluck? Just planting some seeds so you know you are not alone. We regret we are out of town this weekend. So very sorry but cannot cancel. But will be with you in love and spirit and hope to see you soon. May our Precious Lord in His great mercy have Karen's house in the Kingdom all picked out...as He has been waiting for her...and remains with you and your family. You are not alone. God bless you.
In His love and ours, Bernie and judy

Jeff, Joe, Jill and Family ... a piece of my heart is missing now but I am forever grateful for having Karen as my friend. Sitting here today remembering the many many times we spent together at your family gatherings and the many Christmas and New Years Eve celebrations we spent together at our house. Karen's love of her Catholic faith, her family and her friends is to be treasured. She had a zest for life and especially loved her sweet little grandchildren. Mary Karen - you will always be remembered and will be missed each and every day.

I have so enjoyed renewing our friendship in the past couple years. You were a shining light, a prayer warrior, a kind supporter when I lost both of my parents. You had a killer laugh, and smile, and spirit and I felt lucky to get to spend time with you. I am deeply sad for Jeff, and Joe and your beautiful family that was so lucky to be the recipients of your love and affection. You will be sadly missed Karen, by me, and so many others. I love you, Suzi Bone
