We miss you so much

I am regretful and sad to have heard of the passing of Mrs. Loraine Potter;I knew of Mrs. Potter as an educator here in the Palm Beach County School District. Also, I had the opportunity to work with her classes at Tradewinds Middle School. She was a brilliant, admirable educator. May heaven smile upon her family. Gone but never forgotten. Good night princess; I will see you in the morning.

Dear Jarrett and Potter Family,
I haven't had many regrets in life but losing contact with Loraine
Is among the largest. I had two genuine, dear friends from
middle school throughout college, and she was one of them.
She was in my wedding and her name inspired me to name
one of my daughters after her. I attended her wedding and we
both attempted to remain close but even though we became too
busy I always thought about her and looked forward to seeing her.
I'm encouraging all reading this to stay in contact with those you love. It is much easier now with social media. I will forever cherish my joyous times spent with Loraine, and you can believe it was constant laughter. I thank God she was in my life, if only for a season. May God continue blessing each of you as the healing
begins. Personally, I look forward to reuniting with her in the New
Jerusalem. To God Be The Glory!
Much Love,

Loraine, I will miss you every day of the school year. We were like sisters as we worked side by side. Not a day went by that we didn't laugh and enjoy God's graces he gave to us. May you be wrapped in his loving arms and keep a place there for all of us to join you in laughter again. God Bless you Loraine. God Bless the family that are also missing you so much.

Your friend,
Linda Leonard

Ms. Potter was a woman with spirit and determination. Her classes were organized, rigorous, and full of compassion. You learned what she taught and retained the information. Her classes were electives therefore she had 40+ students. She ran a tight ship and everyone participated. Sometimes, more than naught she had the students most teachers dreaded seeing come through the door but not Ms. Potter; she was ready for the challenges. Very few people knew she was ill. Most of us thought including myself she had dieted lost weight and looked wonderful. We had no idea she was ill. She never complained nor sought sympathy. This woman taught until she was placed in the hospital. Why God takes such good people so soon only God knows. She will be missed by friends and family but most of all she will be missed by the students she no longer touches their lives. May God Bless you Lorraine.

Rest in peace Ms. Potter. Even if I wasn't the best student, you were always a great teacher. It's been 6 years since I've seen you (Tradewinds Middle School), wish it wasn't so long. You'll definitely be missed, you left your footprint on many students hearts.
