I am eternally grateful for the wonderful gesture Len made in speaking at my father's funeral service in 1991. My father, Marshall Cupp, was a fellow WWII 10th Mountain veteran. They did not know each other during the war, but met on a reunion visit to Italy and became good friends. Len, dressed in his bright red 10 Mountain blazer, spoke vividly of their first meeting in the town square in Lizzano in Belvedere and of the significance of the war experience. It was a touching moment, appreciated not only by our family but by all in attendance. My heartfelt condolences to Len's family in the passing of this honorable gentleman.
