Mary Lou Edwards-White, age 71, of Pickerington, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the James Cancer Hospital at OSU. She was born June 25, 1946 in Blytheville, AR to the late Shields and Grace Edwards. Mary Lou was a graduate of Blytheville High School, where she was involved with cheerleading and dance. Mary Lou had a servant's heart and loved to shop and buy for others. She was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and also enjoyed feeding the birds, squirrels and chipmunks. Most importantly, as a heart transplant recipient, she cherished time spent with her family; Christmas was her favorite with all of the family together. Preceded in death by her brothers Rev. Bob Edwards and Billy Edwards. Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, George White Jr.; daughters, Laura Dawn (Terry) Coe, Mindy White, Audra Jannan White; grandchildren, Morgan, Tommy, Ashley, Monica, Zoe, Melanie and Miles; great-granddaughter, Nyla Grace; brother, Jerry (Fay) Edwards; and cherished pets, Frostie and Jake. Family and friends may visit 2-6 pm on Sunday, March 11, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Rd. N., Pickerington, OH 43147, where a funeral service, officiated by Pastor Bob Mathias, will be held at 11 am Monday, March 12. Interment Violet Cemetery.
