So sorry for your loss. Mrs. Ehret was one of a kind. Every child should have had her as their teacher. They don't make teachers like her anymore. My children both had Mrs.Ehret as their kindergarten teacher. I worked for Newark City Schools and had the honor of working with Mrs. Every and being friends with her. She will truly be missed. You are all in my prays. The Fiest Family

Mrs. Ehret was my kindergarten teacher in 1989. It's crazy to me how many memories I still have of her from that long ago; she was a wonderful teacher/lady ! I van vividly remember her standing at the piano, playing "This land is your land", while the whole class sang along.
My thoughts and prayers are for her family during this sad time.

Awwwwww.........she was my kindergarten teacher at Cherry Valley Elementary in the 1975-76 school year. I remember being the first child to arrive on the very first day. She chit-chatted with me and mother until the other kids began arriving. Sweet lady. Sorry for your loss.

To the Ehret family, our sincere sympathy on your loss. Mrs. Ehret was my Kindergarten teacher and what I learned in her class I still use to this day. She was one of my favorites, was always fair and fun!
I am thankful that my kids got to have her as a substitute when they were at Cherry Valley. My mother was Linda Applegate, the secretary at CV. Mrs. Ehret was one of her faves and one of the best. Praying for you at this difficult time...take care and God bless.
