My condolences to the Strip family.
I am so thankful to have known Mike for close to 20 years. He was an amazing friend to me in both good times and bad. He was one of the few people on this earth that I could always count on. He was bright, quick witted but above all of that kind hearted and loyal.

Shocked and at a loss for words but find solace in my many memories of Michael. Sending the entire Strip family my deepest condolences on your loss of this very special man; son, brother, uncle, and friend. I will always cherish the many memories of Michael and our crazy adventures from so many years ago. I so vividly remember him always talking about his family and the love he had for all of you. He was such a creative and kind soul who always made us all smile and laugh no matter the circumstances. I feel honored that I was able to know him. It is my hope that he is at peace and know that he still making everyone laugh. Sending hugs to all of you and hope you all find comfort that he touched so many of us in so many ways and made so many of us smile.

I met Michael 15 years ago. He was a very good friend and someone who I could count on. Always giving to others and going out of his way to help. Always appreciative of kindness. He stayed with me for a few weeks this pass year and he was just a pleasure to have. I will miss his laughter but most of all I will miss his corny jokes. I will miss you my friend

Michael was my boss for several years at Arc and always made meetings fun and was so kind to me. We lived in the same neighborhood and shared a cab home one time when a snow storm was on its way and got stuck in traffic for a ridiculous amount of time. He didn't complain but just made the experience a memorable one. He always could make you laugh. So sad to hear of his passing.

I met Mike over 20 years ago and we quickly became friends. His sense of humor and way with words were a true talent! Ill remember the great times we enjoyed together in Chicago and on trips we took to New York and Miami. Mike was one of the brightest guys Ive ever met and feel awful knowing that hes gone. While we hadnt spent time together recently, I thought of Mike often. Whether it was a silly pun or a dish we both enjoyed at Mia Francesca, he was never far away. We love you Strip and youll not be forgotten.

Michael was a well-loved member of the happy family at Frankel. I will always remember him, slightly strutting downs the halls at work, Starbucks in hand, joking and talking with everyone along the way. Or during the summer, seeing him zoom through Lincoln Park on his roller blades, heading towards the lake. May he rest in peace.

Michael was one incredible person. Not only was he one of the best creative minds around, he was humble with a wonderful sense of humor. I loved working with him because we were always laughing which helped during stressful times. Although I moved away from Chicago quite a few years ago, I never forgot him. Learning of his passing was heartbreaking. Peace my friend. You will be greatly missed but your footprint will remain within our hearts.
