Brown Patsy Jo McComas Brown, 85, of Ironton, OH, passed away June 29, 2015 in Columbus, Ohio. Mrs. Brown was born December 2, 1929 in Ironton, Ohio, daughter of the late Leonard Charles and Clara Roberts Venz. She attended Ironton schools and graduated from Ironton High School in 1948. She was formerly employed in the offices of the Ironton Tribune, Dayton Malleable Iron Co., and Chapman Drug Co. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon; a member of the Lawrence County General Hospital Auxiliary; and was a volunteer at the First Methodist Church food pantry. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband James E. "Hunk" Brown who died in January, 2000. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Alan Venz McComas and Janie McComas of Powell, Ohio and Patrick Charles McComas and Kathy McComas of Las Vegas, Nevada; one stepdaughter and stepson, Debra Brown Hendrickson and Ed Hendrickson of Muskegon, Michigan; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren, Luke (Lindsay) McComas, Ashley (Jason) Miller, Rachel (Chris) Griego, Patrick McComas, Braedin Hendrickson, Sara Ward, and Shawn Ward; two great grandchildren, Camryn and Hayden Griego; a sister-in-law, Juanita Brown Thomas of Ironton, Ohio. Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2015, at Woodland Cemetery with Rev. Jan Williams officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the TRACY BRAMMER-MONROE FUNERAL HOME, 518 South 6th Street, Ironton, OH.
