Not sure what to say?

Dear Jack Carey,
Thank you so much for posting these photos of Rob! I´m his eldest sister, and it was sad to find so few photos of Rob, because he was always the one taking them of everyone else. What JOY you provided with these photos. I´m just seeing them, 10years later, and cannot thank you enough for your thoughtfulness!

I am truly saddened to learn of the loss of Rob. He was a great spirit and made high school truly enjoyable. I will always remember the time that Rob and I had to deliver a tv commercial in Spanish Class. We ended up covering ourselves in shaving cream and the class roared with laughter. We never learned much Spanish. I will miss him. Go Eagles, Class of '76.

We are Fred and Karen Kirchgraber. We came to know Rob through our frequent visits to Vincent's Art Gallery. Rob was always a joy to spend time with us. He always made us feel very special. He contributed a piece of Art each year to Ozanam Inn for its fund raising Gala. He was a kind and very dear man and we will miss him deeply.

To Lt. Colonel and Mrs. Jeane Lombardi and all members of Rob's large loving family and especially to his two sweethearts, Melissa and Nina: Rob's light in the visible world seems hidden now. That light has been gifted to each person who loved Rob. By loving Rob we each have been called to do or say one very kind thing for someone known or unknown every day of our remaining lives. We, all who knew him are keepers of his light now. So Big heart, big smile, big love. It will take all of us to do justice to the light Rob had that made him one in a million.

Robbie was a beautiful loving person. I will miss his "hi cuz" followed by long wonderful conversations, usually about family. He loved his family and couldn't get enough of of our family history. We always enjoyed Rob's visits to Boston, especially with Melissa and Nina.
Robbie had a great outlook on life and did not fear death...only regretted Nina would not have her daddy growing up. I know he will always be with her and with us....we have an angel watching over all of us....
My sympathy and love to Melissa, Nina, and Rob's entire loving family.
Rob will be forever missed, but he holds a special place in my heart. My wonderful memories of Rob will sustain me.
Love, cousin, MaryAnn

It is with heart felt condolences to the Lombardi family in their time of grief on the passing of my warm hearted friend Rob Lombardi. We would have breakfast at coffee rani where all knew him and loved him. A kind gentle guy that always had a smile on his face. I'm gunna miss him not seeing him at coffee rani in the mornings. He brighten up my day with his cheerfulness and warm words. He was a gentleman.

Melissa & Nina,
I am so very sorry and will think of you often as you grieve the loss of such a great husband and father. Rob made an impact on everyone. Even in our intermittent crossing of paths, he was always interested, interesting and such a nice friend. He was such a funny guy and I will always think of him with that great smile and warm, loving personality! He certainly left a beautiful mark on this world. I hope all the great memories sustain you & bring you comfort. He will be missed by a multitude of people. Peace to all!
