Robert Becker Obituary

Becker Robert "Bob" Becker, age 80, of Warren, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013, in Columbus. A U.S. Army veteran, Bob served in the Korean War from 1951-52. He is preceded in death by his parents Roscoe Waite Becker and Marie DeGreve Becker. Bob is survived by his son, James Francis of Tokyo; daughter, Donna Simpson of Westminster, Ca., son-in-law, Mark Simpson and grandsons, Cole and Chase; and son, Robert Sean Becker of Worthington, daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Jewell Becker, granddaughter, Katie, and grandson, Thomas. He is also survived by sisters, Miriam Falk, Joan Bowker, and Carol Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1950, and retired in 1998 from the Thomas Steel Strip Corp. in Warren. A celebration will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 in Columbus.
