1935 - 2017
Sherman F. Wood, Jr., age 82 of Westerville, OH passed away December 12, 2017 after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. In retirement from his career as a salesman/owner/founder of Surwood Products, he and his wife Irene, enjoyed ushering at Columbus Blue Jackets and OSU football games. He also took immense pride in following the sporting careers of his grandsons. Survived by his wife of 61 years, Irene; children, Mike Wood, Mark Wood, Sandy (David) Pritchard and Greg (Karen) Wood; grandchildren, Tyler and Eli Pritchard. A private family service will be held at Union Cemetery, Columbus, OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Parkinson Foundation of Central Ohio, 2800 Corporate Exchange Drive, Columbus, OH 43231. Condolences at morelandfuneralhome.com.

Irene, I just heard today of Sherman's passing. I so enjoyed working with both of you at Nationwide Arena for many years. Also buying from Sherman for many more years at Friendship Village. We still have guests ask about both of you. I know they will also be saddened to hear of his passing.

Sherm's family, l am truly sorry for your loss. Sherm will be missed by me and many others. I enjoyed the many conversations and advice he gave me while making sales calls to me at WCS.
