The Liddil Family,

You are in my prayers and condolence of Wilbur and Etta. I will never forget that they always were giving friendly smiles and "How were you doing?" during Corpus Christi and Wehrle High School times.

I am so sorry for all of you for both of your losses so close together. They are back together in heaven in each other's arms and will be watching over all of you.

Liddils,
I am so sorry to hear about Willie's passing, my mother and I just found out from Mary Hatem calling us during the wake. I am sure Mike does not know either. Hence, I am so sorry we (O'Ryans) were not there to say good-bye. I will say some extra prayers to him, now that I know he has to be in heaven with Etta and he's happy. My mom, Marilyn, was writing Willie and sending cards and heartfelt encouragement to him, last one would have arrived this past Saturday, sadly, and he did not get it. I hope someone from the family gets the card and reads her note. Made her really sad to know he did not see it, but I told her that she did better than most, you were writing him - and I know Willie appreciated it a lot. It is hard to lose someone like Willie, he was such a positive influence on many- always had a good-nature personality, and I liked being next door to the Liddils when growing-up, it was my 3rd home outside of my own, and my grandparents. I remember him and Papa talking over the hedges in between Willie trimming them, or sharing a beer in the backyard together or seeing him at a Wehrle Basketball game all decked out in orange and green. Certain images just stick in your mind that bring a smile. He will be missed by many. Rest in peace, Mr. Liddil, no one deserves it more than you. Love, Kellie McGinley (O'Ryan)and Marilyn O'Ryan

Wilbur could touch your heart in a very unique way. I will cherish the times that I was able to spend with him and the Liddil family.
